Had the pleasure of seeing Lee Goodwin's 

www.lgoodwin.smugmug.com outstanding photographs at Kate thefrasergallery.com gallery in Bethesda. Unfortunately, it will be the last exhibition in that space. She is closing down her real space and will be offering artwork through the web. That makes two excellent galleries to close in Bethesda in one year. As an artist often disillusioned with the art market, I can appreciate the decision. I am happy to report that the Gallery at Iona is still thriving on a model of education and supporting artists 60 plus years young. By thinking outside the commercial gallery model it is surviving.
