Daughter Returns

Last year on this day, Celia returned from her birth right trip to Israel with a two day snow ordeal at JFK airport in NYC ending up flying to Tampa where she was met by her loving great Auntie and cousin. Then we all rendezvoused for a lovely reunion. 
64 years ago today, my parents were married in New Jersey, in one of the record breaking snowstorms of our times. Guests were delayed, but the bride insisted on waiting for all to arrive. This in the era of no cell phones, no eta's on recordings! Just trust in the process that eventually all would trains would arrive and family would be gathered for this rites of passage. 
Today we are gathered in Florida, missing my Dad, but enjoying the memories of his love and family devotion. Wondering where my family will be in 64 years down the road??
