Drawing A Day 85

View From the Bartender's Side
I am often accused of looking longer than socially acceptable at my fellow humans. I don't notice it. It is my way of storing the images to my "hard drive" creative brain storage bin for later use in drawings and paintings. When I was younger I was never without a sketch book. Carrying around the tools weighed me down. Remember those old green back packs?? I rely on my memory to collect these compositions, the nuances of lines on a mature face, the curve line of a neck meeting a shoulder. For over 40 years I have known that I see this way and gather images. I can't stop. I have managed to pause in making paintings and drawings on paper and canvas in exchange for the mouse and the "paint" software. It does not give me the same pleasure, but allows for the release of these caged images. Brain zoo?? Now there's an interesting image.
